PDF to PowerPoint

Convert PDF to PowerPoint presentation (.pptx). Each page becomes a slide.

How to Convert PDF to PowerPoint

  1. Upload your PDF file
  2. Each page is converted to a slide
  3. PPTX file downloads automatically

All processing happens in your browser. Your files never leave your device.

What PDF to PowerPoint Does

The tool draws each PDF page as a picture and puts that picture on its own slide. The result is a .pptx file with one slide per page, which downloads automatically. If a page has a text layer, its text is also copied into the speaker notes of that slide.

What It Keeps and What It Does Not

  • A slide looks like its page because it is a picture of the page, saved as a JPEG.
  • The content of the page cannot be edited on the slide. There are no text boxes, shapes or separate images, only the one picture.
  • The text in the speaker notes is plain text without formatting. A scanned page has no text layer, so its notes stay empty.
  • Links, bookmarks and form fields from the PDF do not work on the slides, because each slide is only a picture.

Limits

  • Slides are always 16:9 (10 by 5.625 inches), and each picture is placed at the full slide width. A 16:9 page, such as an exported slide deck, fills the slide exactly. A page with another shape does not fit: a portrait page is taller than the slide, so its lower part ends up outside the slide until you resize the picture in PowerPoint.
  • A PDF that needs a password to open cannot be converted.
  • One PDF at a time.
  • The tool sets no file size limit. Every page is drawn in your browser's memory, so how long a document you can convert depends on your device.

What Happens to Your File

The PDF is read and drawn by code running in this page, and the .pptx file is built in your browser and saved through a normal browser download. Nothing is uploaded: the page sends no request that contains your file, and the site keeps no copy.
